Verified Measurement Credential — What It Means and How to Verify

A verified measurement credential is a signed, auditable assertion that a specific measurement was taken at a specific time by a specific instrument, and that the result has not been altered since. The Council of AI issues signed measurement cards for AI-system evaluations on the living board (GET /api/gspc — quote its totals.public_count live). Each card carries an Ed25519 signature over a canonical body hash, with a published public key at did:web:csoai.org#card-attestation-1. To verify: (1) obtain the signed JSON, (2) recompute the hash in the browser at /gspc-verify or with /signed/verify-card.mjs, (3) confirm VALID under the published key. Three states only: VALID, INVALID, UNCHECKABLE. This is not a security guarantee and not a certification. The card says the board was measured and the numbers are unaltered. Empty cells stay empty.
